Katy Perry celebrated her 29th birthday this morning (October 25) by performing a medley of hits at Lakewood High in Colorado. The students won a nationwide GMA competition to deliver the best rendition of the superstar’s recent chart-topper “Roar” and were rewarded with an exclusive showcase.
Dressed as a cheerleader, the birthday girl charmed everyone with light-hearted banter and enthusiastic performances of “Roar” (watch up top), buzz track “Walking On Air” and signature song “Firework”. Katy’s sound might have matured on Prism but moments like this prove she’s still very much America’s teenage dream.
