Austin Mahone Drops New Song “All I Ever Need”: Listen

Austin Mahone cements his reputation as a teen idol with his new single, the airy ballad “All I Ever Need.”

To finger snaps, he declares that he’s hopelessly devoted to you, likely an Instagram follower, with the innocence and earnestness of idols that came before him – not just *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys (though “Til I Found You” is his “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”), or even their influences like Boyz II Men, but also Usher circa “U Got It Bad,” in which he himself interpolates Maxwell‘s breakout, R. Kelly-penned hit “Fortunate.” As recently said of High School Musical alum Zac Efron, it’s all heart, no libido.

“All I Ever Need” kicks off Mahone’s debut release, the seven-song LP The Secret out May 27. Hear the new song below.
