Gwen Stefani's "Baby Don't Lie" Gets Remixed
The singer's comeback single finally gets some decent reworkings!

Remember back in October when Gwen Stefani revealed during a Twitter Q&A that her third studio LP would be released in December? Fast forward to three months later, and we still don’t have an album nor an official release date! The singer’s reason? She wants to take her time, according to a new interview with Ryan Seacrest.

Stefani told the radio host: “I’ve been working on it. I feel excited now because when I first started working on it, I was like, ‘I’m gonna put it out this year!’ I was very kind of rushed about it. Now I feel settled in, I had the baby — he’s going to be a year-old, can you believe that?! — I feel like now I’m going to go back in and do some more writing and be a little more relaxed about it.”

As of now, all we have is “Baby Don’t Lie,” the subpar “Spark The Fire” and yet another collaboration with Pharrell on “Shine” from the Paddington film (out day, January 16). Hopefully this release hiatus will produce well-thought-out songs that we know she is capable of. In the meantime, while continuing to wait for another Stefani solo record, watch the lyric video for “Shine” after the jump.
