Mariah Carey Announces Her Hallmark Channel ‘Merriest Christmas’ Special

Mariah Carey is here to slay sleigh! The unofficial Queen of Christmas has announced yet another yuletide event for her Lambily yesterday (December 8).

Titled Mariah Carey’s Merriest Christmas, the musical special will air on Hallmark on December 19 at 10 p.m. EST — right after the diva’s self-directed A Christmas Melody movie airs on the same channel.

For the one-hour event, Mimi will sing her iconic holiday tunes while also performing alongside BabyfaceKelsey Grammer and Billy Gardell (from CBS show Mike & Molly) are set to grace the stage as well. According to a press release, the singer’s Hallmark co-stars plan to share their “holiday memories and experiences from working with Mariah on-set during production of the movie.”

Along with her upcoming television special, the elusive chanteuse is currently performing a string of holiday concerts at NYC’s Beacon Theatre, partnered with MAC for a holiday lipstick linewrote a children’s Christmas book and gearing up for the premiere of A Christmas Melody. When will your Christmas fave?
