Iggy Azalea Reveals “Team” Release Date And Video Details
After being Cockle-blocked by her former label boss, Iggy Azalea’s comeback is back on track. The Australian rapper had the blogs buzzing yesterday thanks to a typically blunt interview with Elle Canada (she’s still the realest) and then jumped on Twitter to spill a little tea. For starters, I-G-G-Y’s new single “Team” drops March 21. And, yes — the “Fancy” chart-topper is aware that’s not a Friday. (“I was just happy to have a date”).
The 25-year-old also revealed some interesting tidbits about the video in a Q&A with fans. Iggy explained that the visual will arrive after the song (“not the same day, but ill do a lyric video, or maybe even a dance/lyric type thing day of release so u know the words!”) and then confirmed that she’s working with the video production team behind Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Zayn’s “Pillowtalk.” See her tweets below.
