Kelly Clarkson Performs “Piece By Piece” On ‘Ellen’, Talks Emotional ‘Idol’ Appearance: Watch
Last week, a pregnant Kelly Clarkson kicked TV viewers in the gut with her uber-emotional, slowed-down American Idol performance of the title track from 2015 album Piece By Piece. (Side note: As it turns out, the album was actually released one year ago today.) In fact, the whole thing connected so well with those who watched that both the album rendition of the song and a new “Idol Version” are sitting in the iTunes Top 10.
So leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to bring Clarkson out again for another performance of “Piece By Piece,” which aired today. Will it be enough to push the song over the top and make it Kelly’s fourth chart-topping single on the Billboard Hot 100? Stay tuned.
