Lady Gaga is putting down her guitar, for one night anyway.

On December 30, she returns to Wynn’s Encore Theater in Las Vegas for a concert of jazz standards and renditions of her greatest hits. She will be backed by Brian Newman, the jazz musician who helped arrange Gaga and Tony Bennett‘s joint album Cheek to Cheek. Tickets for this black tie event, billed “An Intimate Evening with Lady Gaga,” costs $1,000 (mezzanine) and $1,500 (orchestra).

The last time Gaga performed such a show, as Las Vegas Review-Journal points out, was on Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert. The CBS TV special from last year also featured performances by Tony, Celine Dion and Garth Brooks, though Mother Monster brought the house down when she closed with “New York, New York.” Revisit that Frank Sinatra cover below.
