Katy Perry Shares Two New ‘KP4’ Snippets On Instagram
Katy Perry’s Instagram is the gift that keeps on giving. A couple of days ago, the Brit Awards-conquering diva shared a mysterious snippet on Instagram, which sounded more like a protest chant than a pop song. “I won’t no, I won’t apologize,” the 32-year-old declares. “I will not, will not subscribe. Don’t ask me, ask me to normalize.” She followed it up with two more and they definitely sound like mini-previews of KP4. I like them both, but let’s start with the one I’m calling “Goddess.” Because it’s particularly killer.
“I don’t have time, but I’ll make up the hours,” Katy sings. “Because I’m a goddess and you know it, some respect you better show it.” The other snippet, which I’ve nicknamed “Glow,” serves serious vibes. “All the way up, even in the dark I glow,” she purrs. “You can’t clip my wings.” Both sound defiant, empowering and extremely confident. The paddle-boarding enthusiast promised to rollout a series of singles before dropping her still-untitled 4th LP. Have we just got a taste of one of them? Listen below.
