Taylor Swift’s 6th Studio Album Is ‘Reputation,’ New Single Thursday
Well, the speculation is over. Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album is called Reputation and it drops November 10. She unveiled the gritty black-and-white cover, which depicts her face superimposed on newspaper headlines, on Instagram after hackers found it on her website. The 27-year-old also revealed that she is releasing a new single tomorrow. Taylor didn’t share the title, but fans are convinced that it’s called “Timeless” after a now-deleted Genius entry under that name.
It definitely looks like Taylor is going for a more personal approach this era, addressing the tidal wave of bad press she has received over the last couple of years after allegedly being exposed as a liar by celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Katy Perry, and receiving major criticism for her apolitical stance. The album is shaping up to be her response letter, which is pretty clear from the snake teaser videos and cover art. I’m expecting something on the lines of Lindsay Lohan’s “Rumors,” but not as good.
