AGNEZ MO Channels Ariana Grande In “Damn I Love You”
Indonesian pop royalty AGNEZ MO is back with the second single from her Danja-produced English album, X. In the music video for “Damn I Love You,” the 31-year-old channels Ariana Grande’s “Into You” by making out with her bad boy boyfriend in a desert motel. AGNEZ later kicks up some dust with her booty-shaking dance moves before hitting a carnival with her crew.
“Damn I Love You” is an interesting pick for X’s second single. “Wanna Be Loved” is more in line with current urban music trends, while many of the other tracks continue the Rihanna-esque badassery of lead single “As Long As I Get Paid.” With that said, the melodic “Damn I Love You” has definite radio potential and has emerged as a clear fan favorite since X dropped earlier this month.
