Stuck On Repeat: The Sky Drops Crawl Into Our Orbit

We stumbled upon a show by the Delaware-based indie-rock duo The Sky Drops the other night, and it was one of the nicest bits of concert-going serendipity we’ve experienced in a while (and we’re not going to chalk that fact up to our hermitude alone). Their guitar-and-drums setup didn’t prepare us for the fact that they make an absolutely massive sound, one which sweeps up giant pieces of bend-the-mind guitar fuzz and perfectly blended male-female harmonies. We’ve been listening to their EP for a good chunk of the day, and we can’t get over the way “You Don’t Crawl” builds:
