Chris Brown May Have Threatened To Shoot Frank Ocean, Also May Have Lied About Community Service
Staying up-to-date with the latest examples of Chris Brown’s unsavory behavior is an exhausting and soul-crushing endeavor, one which is about to get much #darker. There was a beautiful, fleeting moment over the weekend when Frank Ocean said he wouldn’t press charges against Brown and we all thought that we could go back to ignoring Breezy for a few weeks until he again decided to punch someone or throw something or compare himself to Jesus on the cross. We should’ve known better.
Regarding that fight with Ocean, the most significant ramification was that, had charges been filed, Brown most likely would have been found in violation of his probation stemming from the 2009 Rihanna assault. But that point may be moot, as TMZ claims court documents filed by the Los Angeles County D.A. allege Brown was already in violation because he had submitted fraudulent community service records. As part of his guilty plea, Brown was sentenced to 180 days of community service. He completed 202 days according to a letter from the Chief of Police in Richmond, VA but the D.A.’s office is convinced Brown never did the hours, stating that the documentation is “at best sloppy … and at worst fraudulent reporting.”
Breezy did indeed work at The Tappahannock Children’s Center, but he was only supervised by the Richmond cops nine or ten times. Even if you’re of the mind that Breezy is the type of guy who would keep putting in the hours even if there was nobody around to verify it (LOL), well, sources also say several of the dates don’t hold water, since Chris was out of the country on tour.
Also fishy? That children’s center was once run by Brown’s mother, and she orchestrated his schedule there. With all these red flags, the D.A. conducted an investigation and found there was no “credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that Brown did the required amount of community service.
But that’s not the only irksome Chris Brown news TMZ is breaking today (February 5). The site got its hands on Frank Ocean’s official account of the January 27 brawl, in which he claims Brown did, in fact, sock him after a parking space dispute. This would seem to corroborate the unofficial account of Michael Uzowuru, Ocean’s producer who was present. More troubling, though, is that Ocean told cops Breezy threatened to shoot him, specifically by saying, “We can bust on you, too!” Additionally, Ocean heard someone call him a “faggot” during the fight, but wasn’t sure if it was Brown.
So, a few things to keep in mind. First, the violent liar known as Chris Brown could very well be a violent homophobic liar. And second, the loyal members of Team Breezy have their work cut out for them. Oh, and don’t forget!: Rihanna is still dating him.
Got all that? Wanna take a shower now? Us, too.
