Watch Avril Lavigne Perform “Let Me Go” On ‘Conan’ Without Hubby Chad Kroeger
It may be ARTPOP mania in the music world, but let’s not forget Avril Lavigne released her wonderfully nostalgic self-titled album last week and it’s worth a listen if you haven’t gotten to it yet. Just as a reminder, Lavigne stopped by Conan Monday night (November 11) to perform the LP’s no-frills ballad “Let Me Go.”
Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately depending on your Nickelback stance), this was not a Chavril affair, as husband Chad Kroeger wasn’t there for the proceedings. Avril, looking like a punked-up porcelain doll, was more than capable of carrying the song alone, though it probably doesn’t bode well for poor Kroges that an anonymous member of her touring band so ably stepped in to sing his part.
