With The Hunger Games: Catching Fire sweeping all before it at the box office today (November 22), it’s only fitting that we feature something from the epic soundtrack on the site — and what better than an official remix of the sweeping Sia, The Weeknd & Diplo collaboration we had the pleasure of premiering a couple of months ago?
“Elastic Heart” is pretty perfect in its original form with the Australian singer/songwriter’s gorgeous vocal soaring over spooky synths. It’s just a little to dance to unless you’re heavily medicated. Happily, Steve Pitron & Max Sanna have kindly upped the BPM and transformed the moody electro-ballad into a monster floorfiller.
