POWERS’ “Touch The World”: Idolator Premiere

KidinaKorner associate Mike Del Rio is known for writing and/or producing cuts for other artists, like Christina Aguilera‘s “Make The World Move,” Skylar Grey and Eminem‘s “C’mon Let Me Ride” and, most recently, Kylie Minogue’s lead Kiss Me Once single “Into The Blue.” But the 27-year-old musician also lends his talents to his own duo, POWERS, fronted by fellow singer-songrwiter Crista Ru (aka Crista Russo, who, along with Del Rio, penned Selena Gomez‘s “Birthday”).

Given such an illustrious pop pedigree, you’re probably curious to hear what these two sound like when putting their musical minds together for their own material. Today Idolator is premiering POWERS’ crunchy electro stomper “Touch The World,” which features a thick bassline, throbbing synths and Crista Ru’s breathy talk-singing, over both the verses and a chorus that you’ll be hard-pressed to get out of your head after just one listen.

Give POWERS’ new single “Touch The World” a play below.
