Jennifer Lopez debuted Max Martin-produced pop anthem “First Love” at a listening party in Malibu on Friday (April 25) and revealed that it will be the second single from her upcoming 10th studio album after “I Luh Ya Papi”. The original triple threat confirmed that announcement by unveiling the official cover over the weekend.

There’s not a lot to say about the artwork — it features a stunning photo of J.Lo, so it’s obviously flawless — but every reason to get excited about the song. I was lucky enough to attend the listening party and “First Love” was utterly addictive from the first listen. The synth-heavy sound will resonate with pop fans but there’s still enough soul and grit to underline the diva’s return to her urban roots. Think early Robyn for some idea of what to expect. Get excited!
