Shakira’s World Cup Anthem “La La La (Brazil 2014)” Gets A Football-Themed Video: Watch

The response to Pitbull‘s official World Cup song “We Are One (Ole Ola)” has been a little underwhelming but football fans now have an equally uplifting alternative courtesy of Shakira. Her new single “Dare (La La La)” has been overhauled for the sporting event — complete with a new video featuring athletes, dancers and the diva’s famously truthful hips.

When it comes to football anthems, FIFA should stick with the Colombian goddess. Her 2010 effort “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)” sold four million copies around the globe and is the eight most-watched video of all time with 660 million+ views on YouTube. While not quite as catchy, “La La La (Brazil 2014)” will do nicely. As for the video? Nobody kicks sand with more grace than Shakira, as she proves (yet again) in the video up top.

Is this better, worse or on par with Mr. Worldwide’s song? Have your say in the comments below.
