Taylor Swift Announces “Wildest Dreams” As Next ‘1989’ Single
August is underway and fall is just around the corner, folks — time for a depressing ballad from Taylor Swift to clog up the radio!
Oh, just kidding. Swifties no doubt flew into a frenzy as Taylor herself announced on Twitter in the wee hours of the morning that her fifth 1989 single — hey, one single for each million copies of the album sold, right? — will be “Wildest Dreams.”

If you’re not familiar with that particular Max Martin/Shellback co-production, lyrically it finds Tay at her pessimistic finest. Hear it below, and get ready to be listening to it a lot more…whether you want to or not.
