Or, how one Idolator contributor learned to stop worrying and love Future.

It’s official: Future‘s purple reign over the charts is a record-breaking feat.

Future’s album EVOL, released February 6, tops the Billboard 200 this week with 134,000 units sold. Following DS2 and Drake collaboration What a Time to Be AliveEVOL is the Atlanta rapper’s third consecutive release to debut at #1. All of this happened in less than six months, as DS2 was dropped in July 2015 and What a Time to Be Alive was released that October.

That makes Future the fastest-selling artist to score three #1 records since the cast of Glee. In 2010, three of its soundtracks (The Power of Madonna,Vol. 3: Showstoppers and Journey to Regionals) hit #1 in less than two months. Glee was at its prime, with more singles on the Hot 100 than any group except the Beatles.
