Watch Kelly Clarkson’s Emotional Medley On The ‘American Idol’ Finale

American Idol ending is basically the best thing that could’ve happened to American Idol because it led to an inevitable farewell performance from the show’s very first winner, Kelly Clarkson, which inevitably brought everyone to tears (which I think happens every time she performs on the show) and inevitably is the thing everyone is talking about this morning.

On the show’s series finale last night (April 7), Clarkson brought out a medley for the ages, spanning her whole career since that inaugural Idol win in 2002 up to her latest album Piece By Piece. Oh, and she was pregnant, for an added difficulty factor. First up was 2003’s “Miss Independent,” then she went down the list with “Breakaway,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Because of You,” “Walk Away,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “All I Ever Wanted,” “Stronger,” “Heartbeat Song,” “Invincible,” “Piece By Piece,” and of course she closed out with her chart-topping debut single/Idol coronation song “A Moment Like This.”

Watch her emotional sendoff below.
