While Madonna is set to honor Prince during the Billboard Music Awards on May 22, a new petition demands a line-up change. Signees argue that Madonna shouldn’t be the only artist paying tribute, not when he influenced and worked with so many others.

“We cannot let Madonna be the main and only artist tributing Prince during the 2016 Billboard Awards,” the Change.org petition, launched May 13, reads. “He is more worthy of a better choice as a main performer.”

Prince appeared twice on Madonna’s 1989 album Like a Prayer. He played rhythm guitar on the title track and recorded the duet “Love Song.” Her manager Guy Oseary also asked Prince if he would do a joint tour with Madonna, though Prince said no.

Meanwhile, fans signing the petition want to see Sheila E, if not Chaka Khan, Mint Condition, D’Angelothe Roots and/or Janelle Monae. There are 1,892 signatures so far.
