Robyn Drops “Hang With Me” & “Don’t F*cking Tell Me What To Do” Remixes: Listen
Before summer hit, Robyn did a brief festival tour where she premiered new remixes of her old material. Now comes the studio versions, to be released two at a time each Friday in a series titled RMX/RBN.
In this first batch, Swedish house producer Axel Bowman tackles “Hang With Me,” while French dance producer The Mekanism was “honoured” to do his own take on “Don’t Fucking Tell Me What to Do,” according to Facebook. Both songs originally appeared on Robyn’s 2010 Body Talk EP series.
Other, upcoming remixes will be by Cassius (“Dancing on My Own”), Harry (“Choo Choo”), Romero (“Love Kids”), Joakim (“With Every Heartbeat”), Mr. Tophat (“Main Thing”), The Black Madonna (“Indestructible) and Zhala (“Stars 4 Ever,” featuring Heal the World).
