Shawn Mendes Preps For Madison Square Garden In “Ruin” Video: Watch
In advance of his forthcoming sophomore album Illuminate, Shawn Mendes has released the video for his latest single “Ruin.”
The black and white visual sees Mendes alone in New York City’s Madison Square Garden – where he’ll be headlining a show on September 10 – crooning the bluesy slow-burner amid warm spotlights. It’s all very reminiscent of John Mayer circa Where The Light Is. Or least, all signs seem to be pointing in that direction for the 17-year-old singer-songwriter.
