Katy Perry Loves Iggy Azalea's New Single
There's no bad blood here. Katy Perry loves Iggy Azalea & Anitta's "Switch."

Iggy Azalea’s “Mo Bounce” ranks as one of the slickest hip-hop/pop hybrids of the year, but it failed to dent the Billboard Hot 100. The Australian rapper should have more luck with the Katy Perry-approved “Switch.” Featuring Brazilian superstar Anitta, the sassy bop is distinctly more radio-friendly. It’s not quite as overtly pop as “Fancy” or “Black Widow,” but it has a massive chorus, bone-rattling beats and endlessly quotable lyrics. It’s proof that the 26-year-old has finally discovered a sound that plays to her strengths.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, is Iggy the ziggy-iggy the baddest of ’em all?” the hitmaker asks (hilariously) in one verse. “Why you come through and shut down the mall? All that ass deservin’ applause.” That should give you a pretty good idea of what the song is about — looking good and being fierce. The message is emphasized on the catchy chorus. “Red light, yellow light, green light, Switch!” she sings with Anitta, who beams star-power. “This is about the time you recognize I’m that bitch.” Listen to the feel-good anthem below.
