After a few jaw-dropping fashion editorials and a song about her pondering on our country’s current political state and flower crowns at Coachella, Lana del Rey teased fans with another unreleased song on her Instagram account in the wee hours of the morning. Since casting a spell on our current president, Lana has been dropping witchy dream pop release after witchy dream pop release, including “Lust for Life” featuring The Weeknd and now this unnamed track.

The Instagram video shows her doing a bit of a vampy choreography, yearning “I fall to pieces when I’m with you.” The video is a snippet of her rehearsal for her set at KROQ Weenie Roast Y Fiesta 2017 in Carson, CA this Saturday. While she didn’t announce a specific song title, fans online speculate that it’s called “Cherry” because our newly crowned Supreme commented on the post with a cherry emoji. Plus, the lyrics say “my cherries and wine,” so it may be a close call. Lana also posted a second preview of the same rehearsal but quickly deleted it thereafter, where we got a better listen.

Happily, we can always count on savvy fans to snatch videos and reupload them when stars remove content from social media. The song itself is in line with everything we love and hold dear about Lana’s music: hauntingly beautiful melodies, can’t-live-without-you lyrics, and a somber ambiance. It also follows the ‘50s-’60s vibe that she announced for her upcoming LP Lust for Life. And since LDR is performing the song this Saturday, it’s likely that it will either drop or leak by then. In the meantime, check out the snippets below.
