Anitta To Follow Up “Switch” With A New Single Called “Paradinha”
Anitta is currently making waves as the featured vocalist on Iggy Azalea’s insanely catchy “Switch,” but she’s not resting on her laurels. The Brazilian pop star is apparently releasing a new single called “Paradinha” on May 31. It will be released in her native Portuguese and Spanish, and serves as the lead single from her 4th LP. Before then, she still has a lot of “Switch” promo to do with a string of TV performances and interviews. The video, which leaked prematurely, will also have an official release.
While the 24-year-old is relatively unknown in the US, she’s a chart-conquering superstar at home. The diva has eight top 10 hits to her credit (it will soon be nine thanks to “Switch”), performed at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics and recently recorded a duet with Maluma. The sultry brunette is also something of a mastermind at social media, regularly posting sexy bikini pics and cute selfies to her 20 million followers. Stay tuned for an official confirmation about “Paradinha.”
