What a time! Lana Del Rey unveiled the cover of 4th LP, Lust For Life, this morning (April 11) and it finds the “Love” singer posing in front of a truck. It’s a little more rustic than we’re used to, but it’s effortlessly gorgeous and romantic. Lana’s artwork is usually a pretty good indication of the album’s overall theme. She was an icy, aloof temptress on the cover of Born To Die (loneliness), a casual Cali babe on Ultraviolence (the real world) and a Hollywood tourist on Honeymoon (voyeurism).

The 31-year-old shared a trailer for Lust For Life in late March and it found Lana cooking up musical goodies in the middle of the Hollywood sign. “When I’m in the middle of making a record, especially now when the world is in the middle of such a tumultuous period, I find I really need to take this space for myself, far away from real life to consider what my contribution to the world should be in these dark times,” she said.

“Even though these times can feel a little bit crazy, they’re not so very different from what other generations have experienced at one time or another before,” the good witch of West Hollywood continues. “Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there’s no place I’d rather be than smack dab in the middle of Hollyweird making this record for you. Because you and the music and this place are my love, my life, my lust for life.” Revisit the trailer below.
