Tegan And Sara Tease “U-Turn”: Listen To A Clip Of The ‘Love You To Death’ Song
If the synthy blips and bloops and bleeps from the tease of Tegan And Sara‘s forthcoming single “Boyfriend” weren’t enough to fill your pop heart with glee, then get a load of “U-Turn,” another track off upcoming LP Love You To Death (out June 3) the pair have previewed. Like “Boyfriend,” the ’80s new wave influence is apparent here — a genre that Tegan and Sara Quin, as well as producer Greg Kurstin, have been happily exploring as collaborators since 2013 album Heartthrob.
“I’ve been like this so long I can barely stand to think it now,” we hear the pair sing on the upbeat “U-Turn.”
So far it’s just a tiny bit we get to hear of the song. There’s obviously more to come, including the full “Boyfriend” single,” which is scheduled to be released this Friday, April 8.
