Charli XCX has been working at a crazy clip over the past year: She started an experimental pop imprint Vroom Vroom Recordings, which was accompanied by her SOPHIE-produced Vroom Vroom EP, she released an underrated song for the Angry Birds soundtrack, she wrote for Selena Gomez, she starred in a documentary about feminism in pop and, oh right, she’s been working on her Sucker follow-up. Now, the British musician tells The Evening Standard that her third LP is just about wrapped up.

“I’m going to be putting a record out soon and it’s going to be the most pop thing I’ve done,” she told the paper. “I’m just finishing it but I can’t say anything yet. I’ve been in L.A. chilling and it’s great to be back in London.”

Previously, she indicated the album was skewing toward electronic party music, before letting on that Paris Hilton was one of the project’s big inspirations.
