Enchanting everyone in sight with her smokey, languid vocals on Rudimental’s “Powerless”, UK’s latest pop darling Becky Hill recently released her Two Inch Punch-produced debut single “Caution To The Wind,” which now has a video to go along with it.

Directed by Fred Rowson, the mastermind behind the visual for DVBBS, Borgeous and Tinie Tempah’s collab club track “Tsunami,”  the “Caution To The Wind” clip explores the passing of time.  It’s beautifully animated and follows the progression of life, whether it is through people’s age or the landscape around us. More importantly, however, it not-so-subtly let’s us all know that, regardless of its progression, the world will still keep on spinning and spinning…. and spinning.

Nick Jonas is ready to make the leap from boy band icon to fully-fledged adult pop star with new single “Chains”. While this isn’t the 21-year-old’s first solo project, it’s definitely his most convincing. The fitness fanatic follows the Justin Timberlake formula for career transformation a little too closely but everyone has to start somewhere.

Produced by Jason Evigan (his credits include Demi Lovato‘s “Heart Attack” and David Guetta‘s new hit “Lovers On The Sun”), “Chains” is a mid-tempo R&B anthem that showcases Nick’s smooth vocal. “You got me in chains for your love but I wouldn’t change,” sings the former teen star over chunky beats before the now standard breakdown. It’s a step in the right direction but no “Like I Love You”. More »

Miley Cyrus Skips Porn, Boobs & Nudity Again, Posts Colorful Pics Of Her New Hair & Nails: 8 Photos

Jul 24th, 2014 // Comment

If Miley Cyrus is looking like 14 packets of Skittles exploded all over her lately, it’s because the MTV Video Music Awards nominee has gone color crazy with her hair and nails. Yes, according to her latest barrage of Instagram snaps, she’s moved on from covering up that tongue-wagging mug of hers to attaching bright braids to her mop and painting her nails with vibrant polish.

All that said, strangely Miley has only shared one topless photo in the past week. I’m a bit worried that she’s losing focus, but at least we’ve all got these pics and those ones and this set and this other gallery of nude, shirtless Cyrus to default to until she gets it together. Sigh.

Flip through the above gallery and give your eyes a trippy blast of color, Miley-style. More »

Mariah Carey‘s iconically-titled new LP Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse has inexplicably tanked on the Billboard 200 but the legendary diva doesn’t look too unhappy. She beamed at the premiere of Hercules in Los Angeles last night (July 23) in a form-fitting black dress that showcased her killer curves and sexy pins.

Mimi had better get used to being in the spotlight. The ageless diva is rumored to be going on tour later this year and needs to increase her visibility if she’s going to revive her latest opus. Speaking of which, where is the video for “You Don’t Know What To Do”? (A visual for “Thirsty” would be nice while she’s at it). At least Mariah’s fashion game is on point. More »

Ah, Glastonbury — the mud, the music, the one festival that sells out a year in advance. Simply said, it’s pretty much the mecca of all music gatherings. However, as seen in Lily Allen‘s latest video for “As Long As I’ve Got You,” this festival is not only the gig of every artist’s wet dreams, but also a place that holds a certain element of nostalgia for the British songstress.

As it turns out, Lily is a fervent Glasto-goer, showing baby photos of her with the Allen fam and slowly progressing to images of her teenage years at the festival in the beginning of the video. The clip then switches to the Sheezus singer going on a lovely stroll through 2014′s Glastonbury grounds, laughing, dancing, twirling, even taking a few snaps to remember the glorious experience in between. Boots Talks About Reworking Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love”, Hints At More New Music

Bey's Grey
"Crazy In Love" has been reworked for '50 Shades Of Grey'. Read More »

If you’ve been online in the past couple of days, you’re probably already aware that a reworked version of Beyonce‘s seminal 2003 hit “Crazy In Love” scores the new 50 Shades Of Grey trailer. Boots, the rising producer behind most of Queen Bey’s game-changing visual album, was at the helm again and spoke to Complex about the latest endeavor with his iconic muse.

The producer has a very simple reason for reviving Bey’s signature song. “Falling in love can make you do crazy shit,” he says. “That was the spirit of the original song in the first place, we flipped it and it kind of became a whole thing.” Boots was also full of praise for the On The Run performer (“whenever it comes to the stuff that Bey and I do, I’ll never speak for her, but I think that she killed it”) and vaguely hinted at more to come (“there’s a lot of shit that’s coming up”). Can’t wait. More »
