Iggy Azalea’s ‘Reclassified’: See The ‘New Classic’ Reissue’s Rumored Tracklist

Iggy Azalea will include five new songs total in Reclassified, the forthcoming re-release of her debut The New Classic, according to Rap-Up. And based on their titles, the “Black Widow” star may spend her time defending her stance as one of this year’s biggest breakout stars, in both rap and on the Billboard Hot 100.

Azalea teams up with rising pop star on a song called “Beg for It,” which they will premiere next week on Saturday Night Live. Recent collaborator Jennifer Hudson appears in a track called “Trouble,” while Ellie Goulding pops up in a song that isn’t called “Can I Say,” as previously reported, but “Heavy Crown.” Given the criticism and flak she has received from rap elders like Rah Digga and Snoop Dogg, such songs could make for bold statements.

Reclassified is out November 24. See its rumored tracklist below. More »

‘Glee’ Star Matthew Morrison Marries Model Renee Puente

Congratulations are in order! Glee star Matthew Morrison married model Renee Puente on October 18 in Maui, Hawaii.

The longtime couple exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony of just 50 guests, held on a private estate in Kihei. Kiley Dean, R&B singer and Britney Spears back-up vocalist, sang as Puente walked down the aisle. Later, the newlyweds themselves sang a duet version of “Starry Eyed/Video Games” by Nashville star Laura Benanti.

Morrison and Puente had been dating since 2011 and got engaged last summer. Friends Elton John and David Furnish had announced the news during this year’s White Tie and Tiara Ball in London, and to celebrate, John and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin serenaded the couple with a duet version of John’s pop standard “Your Song.” More »

Kesha Wrote About Dr. Luke In Letters To Fans From Rehab

Kesha filed a lawsuit earlier this week against longtime producer Dr. Luke, claiming that he “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused” her for a decade. But as BuzzFeed just discovered, a rare few weren’t shocked by the allegations. The news outlet discovered (and confirmed the authenticity) of several letters that the Warrior star wrote to devoted fans while staying at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center earlier this year.

All of her letters were written on coloring book pages. Some of them have the “Timber” singer calling out the super-producer by name. “Annie – yes, Dr. Luke has tortured me & my family … he did do what people know about + so much more terrible shit,” Kesha wrote in one letter – see it below. Taylor Swift Teases New ’1989′ Single Release on iTunes

Welcome to New York?

Taylor Swift has been teasing song lyrics from her new album, 1989, over the past few days. Last night (October 18), however, she revealed something even bigger – a worldwide iTunes release. “Heads up! Something’s happening on @itunesmusic at around 11:59pm EST Monday night..,” she said on Twitter.

Swift posted two photos with her announcement, including one of her standing on a balcony with a view overlooking the Big Apple. This has led fans to believe that the “Out Of The Woods” star plans to release a song called “Welcome to New York,” which is reportedly co-written by OneRepublic‘s Ryan Tedder. (Swift has said that this rumored 1989 tracklist wasn’t accurate, save for how “Shake It Off” is listed as the sixth track.) See the announcement below. More »

Lana Del Rey Enchants At The Hollywood Forever Cemetery In Los Angeles: Live Review

Lana Del Rey cast a lingering spell over the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles last night (October 17) with the first of two surprise shows at the unusual venue. From the moment I walked through the wrought-iron gates and slowly made my way past headstones to the makeshift stage, I knew the diva’s depressing brand of indie-pop had found the perfect setting.

And the 29-year-old rose to the occasion. She casually strolled on stage looking like a ’60s beauty queen, with her Jackie O hairstyle and pretty floral dress, and kicked off the concert with Ultraviolence opener “Cruel World”. It was immediately apparent that Lana was in fine form vocally and seemed less disorientated than the last couple of times I’ve seen her perform. That song segued into Paradise EP cuts “Cola” and “Body Electric”.

Despite the quality of her new album, the Fader cover girl mostly stuck with the more familiar material from Born To Die. (Hearing the title track in the near vicinity of the dearly departed was genuinely touching). There was a smattering of new songs, however, and they all sounded great. Lana upped the tempo with a rollicking rendition “West Coast”, which got screams of approval, and enchanted with the most-slept-on single of 2014, “Ultraviolence”. More »

Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie”: Hear Her Comeback Solo Single

Gwen's Back!

Gwen Stefani‘s comeback single, “Baby Don’t Lie,” has surfaced online ahead of its rumored October 19 premiere date. The song itself, the No Doubt ringleader and Voice coach‘s first new solo music since 2006′s The Sweet Escape, is just as surprising.

“Uh huh, here we go,” Stefani says, and to this rubbery bass line and hand claps – this club-ready setting suggesting a sequel to the Pharrell-produced smash “Hollaback Girl.” Instead, “Baby Don’t Lie” mellows out into a mid-tempo pop song. Throughout, Stefani hiccups through her lyrics (“But there’s something behind those eyes/those eyes/that you can’t, that you can’t disguise/disguise”) like Rihanna does in 2012′s Sia-written “Diamonds,” save for the Love.Angel.Music.Baby-ready sung-rap breakdown. Baauer Drops “One Touch” Featuring AlunaGeorge: Listen

One Touch

Earlier this week, Baauer (of “Harlem Shake” fame) posted a screenshot to Facebook of an iTunes playlist [“writing (play out)”], featuring 85 previously unreleased songs of his. “pick one from here and ill [sic] put it on soundcloud RN,” the trap ‘n bass producer said. From there, fans took notice of an AlunaGeorge collaboration titled “One Touch.”

Last night (October 17), BBC Radio 1′s Annie Mac premiered “One Touch” in its entirety – perhaps by coincidence, the same way that AlunaGeorge debuted its new song “Supernatural.” And like a true collaboration, both parties play to their sensibilities: AlunaGeorge’s lead vocalist Aluna Francis continues to sound like a disembodied ghost as she pleads for just a little more action (“You gotta give me something to work with,” she repeats). Meanwhile, Baauer alternates between cuing door-slam percussion, rubbery bass lines, finger snaps and key-jangling melodies – it’s carefully orchestrated chaos.

Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” Lyric Video: Watch

Love Me Harder

Ariana Grande has debuted her “Love Me Harder” lyric video – essentially, an extended behind-the-scenes peek into the actual video to come.

Like her teasers so far, the hazy footage shows the My Everything star dressed in a lace bralet top and skirt, casting knowing glances at the camera from an antique bed and seat. Aside from when she meets featured vocalist The Weeknd in a stairwell, the “Love Me Harder” lyric video bears a striking resemblance to a standard Victoria’s Secret commercial. More »

Max Martin Hints At Katy Perry And Drake Collaboration

A ''Legendary'' Collab?

Pop super-producer Max Martin hints that Katy Perry and Drake may soon appear in a song together. MTV notes that the official website for his production company Maratone now lists a version of Perry’s song “Legendary Lovers” featuring Drake among his credits. Martin wrote and produced the song with the chanteuse, her longtime collaborator Bonnie McKee, Cirkut and Dr. Luke.

Legendary Lovers” is one of a few songs off Perry’s 2013 album, Prism, that are influenced by hip-hop. (Perhaps Drake will crib her flow from her sung-rap verses or pay off her vows to be a ride or die chick – who knows.) “Dark Horse” became an unexpected crossover hit for featured Three 6 Mafia ringleader Juicy J, while a “This Is What We Do” remix features rap’s most bizarre goofball RiFF RaFF.
