Tori Kelly Teases Max Martin-Produced Single “Nobody Love”: Listen To A Snippet Of The Perky Jam

Tori Kelly takes a sentimental approach in her "Paper Hearts" video. Check out the diva's new clip.

After making the leap from YouTube stardom to buzz artist with a major label deal, Tori Kelly showed the full scope of her vocal ability and songwriting prowess on 2013 EP Foreward. It was a great introduction to the 22-year-old but didn’t have the radio-friendly hit needed to take things to the next level. The “Dear No One” diva isn’t going to make the same mistake again on her debut LP — hitting up Swedish maestro Max Martin to produce lead single “Nobody Love.”

Tori teased a 15-second snippet of the track on Instagram this afternoon (January 28) and it sounds like the man behind most of Taylor Swift‘s 1989 album has helped craft another winner. “Ain’t nobody love, ain’t nobody love like you do,” the newcomer sings in the bubbly chorus. It’s very late-’90s Mariah Carey (Ariana Grande will be mad jealous!) but she has the vocal chops to pull it off. Check out the future hit after the jump. More »

The 2015 Grammy Awards performance roster continues to grow every day.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, jazzy sweethearts, are keeping the Cheek To Cheek promo coming. Not only are they about to perform at the 2015 Grammy Awards, but they just released their critically hailed Cheek To Cheek: LIVE! to DVD/Blu-Ray on January 20.

The 90-minute special, filmed last year at the Rose Theater of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, features the two talented crooners performing selections from their #1 duets record. And today, the twosome just premiered footage of one of their performances from the special taping: “Goody Goody.” Seated in a giant rocking chair with an oversized hat, Gaga coquettishly pleads for Mr. Tony Bennett to take her back after going for another guy. “I’m not a rascal! I’m just a baddie baddie!” she begs. Oh, these two!

Check out Gaga and Tony’s performance up top, then let us know what you think in the comments below.

Selena Gomez Now Has More Instagram Followers Than Justin Bieber, He Fights Back By Teasing New Music

Justin Bieber's Bulge Is Real
Justin Bieber's Bulge Is Real
Justin Bieber wants you to know that his bulge in those racy Calvin Klein pics is 100% real. See the proof.

Selena Gomez now has more Instagram followers than Justin Bieber. (22.35 million people check out Sel’s selfies, while her ex-boyfriend has to settle for an audience of just 22.33 million). The stunning development was a big deal on Twitter for a couple of seconds — at least among Selenators — but Calvin Klein’s new poster boy soon hit back by posting new music on the photo/video sharing app.

“How do I lives become lighter? How do our eyes become brighter?” Justin croons over strummed guitar in the first snippet. “You gotta believe in something higher.” It’s a pretty acoustic ballad that sounds like something from the Canadian’s 2014 sessions with Cody Simpson. The other preview, however, finds the superstar in a darker mood. “How do I always end up the enemy? How do I wake up in the morning when you’re not right next to me?” Could he be referencing his break-up with Selena? Take a listen after the jump. More »

CL To Make US Debut In 2015
CL To Make US Debut In 2015
Watch out, female rappers. Korean superstar CL is set to maker her US debut in 2015!

CL, The Baddest Female/2NE1‘s glamorous femcee, has been working on her US debut with a bunch of high-profile collaborators since signing on with manager-extraordinaire Scooter Braun. So far, the list includes Diplo, Skrillex, Will.i.am and now Florence + The Machine (!!) — at least according to rapper/songwriter Bobby Brackins. He had a huge year in 2014 — penning hits for Tinashe and Chris Brown, releasing his own music and befriending the South Korean bombshell.

“I’m friends with this girl CL now, she’s like the biggest artist in Korea,” the “Hot Box” hitmaker told Noisey. “She hit me up to go work on some songs with Florence and the Machine! I couldn’t do it because it was the night before we were flying out to New York but that would have been crazy to work with Florence.” The idea of the 2NE1 starlet hitting the studio with the ethereal Brit boggles the mind but I’m here for it. In any case, it looks like Lee Chaelin (her real name) is destined to make a splash stateside. More »

Sophie Ellis-Bextor Has Started Working On Her Sixth Studio Album

6 Albums That Got Us Through The Polar Vortex
6 Albums That Got Us Through The Polar Vortex
In 2014, we literally lived through one of the most epically sucktastic winters in recorded history.

British pop darling Sophie Ellis-Bextor only just dropped an album last year, but she’s already heading back into the studio.

The “Murder On The Dance Floor” songstress might be best known for her brand of icy dance-pop tunes over the years, but Ellis-Bextor surprised fans with her wondrously dreamy foray into more folk-driven pop with Wanderlust at the top of 2014. The album, which charted at #4 in the UK and produced singles like “Young Blood” and “Runaway Daydreamer,” went on to become Sophie’s most successful record since her 2001 solo debut, Read My Lips. And judging by her latest Instagram, it seems she’s going to continue down that same sonic path.

“We have begun! Day one songwriting for album 6 with @edharcourt,” she wrote in a cheerful selfie with producer Ed Harcourt, who co-helmed the entirety of Wanderlust. What are you hoping to hear from Sophie’s next effort?

After releasing their debut self-titled EP in December, Lion Babe are back with the video for the latest tune — “Treat Me Like Fire.” This actually serves as “visual #2,” as the first one was revealed a little over two years ago when the duo just began their music careers.

That one was a little raw, while the current one has a more polished appeal (they recently signed to Interscope Records). The black and white clip finds lead singer Jillian Hervey dancing freely while her wild mane ruffles in the air. “Treat Me Like Fire” follows tunes like the Childish Gambino-assisted “Jump Hi” and “Jungle Lady,” all off Lion Babe’s debut EP (released on December 15). Even prior to world hearing his In The Lonely Hour debut album (released in May 2014), Sam Smith has been one of the biggest pop stars to keep on your radar. Now in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, he is reflecting on his musical journey.

For one thing, he quite over everyone comparing him to Adele“We’re very different, and I feel like the constant comparisons might piss her off,” he tells the magazine. “It just annoys me that people can’t digest two pop stars singing really personal songs who don’t look like normal pop stars.”

As for his upcoming Grammys performance? He has cayenne-pepper juice regime to prep himself: “I’m just very body-conscious. Sometimes I’m really proud that I don’t look like other pop stars. But there’s also moments where I’m like, ‘Ugh, I wish I had abs like Bieber,” he muses. More »

Fall Out Boy is officially back on top.
