Shakira‘s pregnant, Jessie Ware got married — everyone pop a bottle in celebration!
Jessie got hitched this week to Sam Burrows, her childhood sweetheart according to Hello magazine, on the Greek Island of Skopelos. And speaking of magazines, forget choosing some glossy publication to debut your wedding photos in — Jessie’s Instagram pics of her and Sam are simple, yet absolutely amazing. In one particular snap, the pair can be seen wearing matching leather jackets that, combined, spell out “Just Married” (above). And then there’s their similar swimsuits, with “Mr. Ware” and “Mr. Burrows” emblazoned across each of their backsides. Congrats, you crazy clowns.

The moment has arrived: Maroon 5‘s highly anticipated, Sia-penned collaboration with the one and only Love. Angel. Music. Baby. diva Gwen Stefani is upon us.
The V ballad, due out on the band’s fifth studio album next week (September 2), sees The Voice‘s Adam Levine and newbie judge Stefani trading off heartfelt, melodic verses above a simple piano melody and sweeping cinematic strings, recalling A Great Big World‘s vulnerable “Say Something” with Christina Aguilera.
“I know you’re scared/Oh, I can feel it/It’s in the air, I know you feel that too,” Levine tenderly croons off the top of the track. And then, in comes the No Doubt frontwoman: “It won’t take me long to find another lover but I want you,” she swoons. It’s been forever since we last heard Gwen crooning a ballad to us, but just as with “4 In The Morning” or “Early Winter,” she’s still good at giving us full body chills.
It’s a gorgeous collaboration and, considering the loud rumblings about Gwen’s upcoming solo work on the way, an enticing indication of what’s still to come. Listen to “My Heart Is Open” after the jump, and let us know what you think in the comments below. More »
Miley Cyrus recently posed nude for V magazine and the world makes sense again. I mean, there’s only so many scary selfies and semi-disturbing pet pig pics you can flick through without missing the diva’s scandalous unclothed antics of 2013. Earlier today (August 28) she posted a preview of the Karl Lagerfeld-helmed shoot but it was heavily censored. Happily, she just shared a more explicit version.
While the 21-year-old’s boobs are still covered, this time by well-placed smiley faces, it’s still fairly confronting. She looks gorgeous (and the bed of stuffed animals is a nice touch) but the uncensored image is going to be her raunchiest nude yet. Miley is currently riding high on praise for bringing a not quite homeless man to last weekend’s MTV VMAs. See the full picture after the jump. More »
Iggy Azalea turned down the chance to work on Ariana Grande‘s debut LP Yours Truly because she mistook the pint-sized diva for a child. “She reached out to me for her first album,” the “Fancy” hitmaker revealed in an interview with Grammy.com. “And I didn’t do it even though I thought she was amazing because I thought she was much younger than what she is.”
“When I realized she was so close to my age, I was like — wait you’re an adult!” the Australian rap queen continues. “I felt that my music was kind of so risque and I knew she had a Disney show… I didn’t feel it was appropriate but then I actually met her and I found out that she’s a grown-up and I was like ‘oh ok!’” The duo subsequently worked together on summer smash “Problem”, so all’s well that end’s well. Ryan Gosling noir thriller Drive is the type of movie that doesn’t leave your head for days (weeks, years…) once you see it, and a large part of the film’s draw is its addictive electro-pop soundtrack — in particular, College and Electric Youth‘s dreamy tune “A Real Hero.” Cut to three years later, and Electric Youth, a Canadian duo consisting of real-life couple Bronwyn Griffin and Austin Garrick, are releasing their debut LP Innerworld on September 30.
Ahead of that, the pair and their touring band recently shot a live video in a Toronto studio where they performed “A Real Hero” on camera for the very first time. NPR premiered the mesmerizing visual today, and you can watch it above. More »
