The internet exploded with talk that Beyonce was pregnant with a second child when Jay Z allegedly dropped the bombshell during an On The Run tour stop in Paris, France over the weekend. He was reported as switching the lyrics of Magna Carta Holy Grail interlude “Beach Is Better” from “I replace it with another one” to “cause she’s pregnant with another one”. (The audio isn’t exactly convincing).
In true Bey style, she refuted the baby talk not by holding a press conference or jumping on Twitter but by showing off her toned tummy in a series of scorching hot Tumblr posts. The 33-year-old rocked a tiny string bikini (and gold leaf tattoos) on her luxury yacht somewhere off the coast of France. It goes without saying that she looked completely and utterly amazing. Get ready for the new era to begin, Killer Lovers: Nicole Scherzinger has just unveiled the tracklisting for her brand new LP.
It’s surely been a long and bumpy ride for the former Pussycat Doll-turned-solo starlet following the release of 2011 debut Killer Love, from her 2013 one-off “Boomerang” to her Summer ’14 breezy Top 10 smash “Your Love” to the oddly tepid “On The Rocks.” And then, out of nowhere, a powerful ballad called “Run” surfaced on French radio over the weekend. But what does it all add up to? A new album!
Today, the songstress revealed the song titles from her follow-up album on Instagram with the help of a fun crossword puzzle for fans. So, what hot new jamz do we have to look forward to? Find out after the jump. More »
It’s been over two-and-a-half years since Whitney Houston died in a Beverly Hills hotel room, and in that time, the singer’s former mentor and label chief Clive Davis has gone about readying a live album/DVD collection — the first ever for Houston — for release this fall.
Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances, out November 10, was produced by Davis and, according to USA Today, includes the late Grammy winner’s 1983 performance of “Home” on The Merv Griffin Show, her rendition of the National Anthem from Super Bowl XXV in 1991 and a 2009 performance of “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Monday night’s episode of the Tonight Show was all about Barbra Streisand. The iconic diva swung by the NYC set of the nighttime talk show and spent the evening with host Jimmy Fallon to promote her new album Partners (out today, September 16). In the spirit of the release, Fallon donned an Elvis wig and a cowboy hat and joined Streisand for a medley of “Love Me Tender” and “I’d Want It To Be You.” They capped the whole shebang off with “It Had To Be You” (as done on Partners by Babs and Michael Buble).
Watch below, and be sure to stick around till the part where Jimmy goes in for a kiss, only to be comically rebuffed by Barbra. More »
We’re all sending good vibes over to Lana Del Rey right now.
Following the cancellation of her planned Live Lounge appearance on BBC Radio 1 in London earlier this week, the Ultraviolence beauty has just cancelled the remainder of her promotional activities planned throughout Europe as a result of an illness, including two private concerts for Virgin Radio listeners in Paris.
“For medical reasons independent of our will, the artist has been forced to cancel all promotional activities planned in Europe over the coming days,” a rep from Universal reportedly said in a statement. More »

Naturally, award show favorite Pharrell Williams is represented heavily, as well, with five nominations of his own.

Jazzy pals Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga continue to roll out their Cheek To Cheek tracks ahead of the album’s release next week (on September 23). This time around it’s “Nature Boy,” a cover of the classic standard written by eden ahbez (yes, his name was in lower case) and made famous when the 1948 Nat King Cole version was released.
Says Gaga of this track (via a press release), “You will recognize ['Nature Boy'] also famously as used in Moulin Rouge, but our rendition with the now late multi-reedist Paul Horn is spectacular. Horn was meant to join Tony & me for the PBS special but sadly passed just weeks before, a New Age Jazz pioneer, lets celebrate him 2day. You will hear his genius in the flute solo of our ‘NATURE BOY’ a solo that will echo through the world today. And forever.” More »

DJ/producer Breach has been on a roll in his native country of the UK, after racking up two Top 10 hits in 2013 (“Jack” and “Everything You Never Had”). For his stab at a hat trick, the British musician has paired up with chameleon-like songbird Kelis for a remix of her Food track “Rumble.” Re-titled “The Key” for its official single release, Breach pulls Kelis away from the neo-soul sound she experimented with on her most recent album, and puts her right back on the dancefloor.
That’s not to say “The Key” sounds anything like Kelis’ underrated 2010 foray into French electronic music, Flesh Tone. Rather, Breach gives a somewhat retro house zing to “Rumble” with this one, and in the process underscores the fact that Kelis really is one of the most versatile artists in modern pop. More »
Tove Lo is about to explode — in more ways than one.
Ever since we first heard “Habits (Stay High),” the lead track off of her fantastic Truth Serum EP released back in early March, we already knew that the Swedish singer-songwriter was about to burst in a big way on the pop scene.

And today, we’re bringing you one massive smash of an album track: “Timebomb,” available now if you pre-order the album. More »
