And now, for their next act in proving their impending pop culture dominance…

Following their performance on Today, Australian pop-punk troupe 5 Seconds Of Summer took to the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to perform some of their biggest hits off of their chart-topping self-titled debut.

The set included their aching Top 20 ballad “Amnesia,” along with “She Looks So Perfect” and, as a bonus, album track “Beside You.”

The boys sounded fantastic live and brought their usual energy to the stage. (But then again, it’s probably hard to hear much of anything over those shrieks from the audience.) Check out 5SOS performing “Amnesia” up top, then check out the other performances after the jump. More »

Ryan Tedder wrangled up his OneRepublic mates for an early morning performance on Today, which included the band banging out “Ordinary Human,” a contribution to feature film The Giver. Clearly no one told Tedder that it’s hot and humid as f*** here in New York City, as the frontman was clad in a black tee and black leather jacket. Nice shades, though, man.

Watch the guys do “Ordinary Human” above, then head below to see them serve up their ever-present radio jams “Counting Stars” and “Love Runs Out.” More »

The mixes — crafted by PBR Streetgang, Sonic Matta and The Penelopes — range from modern electronica pulsations to early ’90′s-leaning House, providing the spooky epic with a dance floor friendly gloss. Grab Jim, and allow him to raise you up at the discotheque. Check out the remixes after the jump, and let us know which one’s your favorite in the comments below. More »

Summer’s still in full swing, and the covers are only getting hotter: Last month, Jennifer Lopez‘s sizzling style on the cover on InStyle won her the crown for July ’14′s best cover according to our readers. Who’s in the running for August’s spread?

“I Will Never Let You Go” hit-maker Rita Ora keeps it cool in light denim on the cover of FLARE, while Lana Del Rey gets up close and personal with her kitty for Rolling Stone. A fresh faced and gorgeous Rising Star judge Kesha opens up on the cover of Teen Vogue, “Your Love” beauty Nicole Scherzinger smolders in all denim (another denim!) for Cosmopolitan UK and “Crazy Stupid Love” diva Cheryl Cole stay sophisticated in an animal print jacket and heels for Elle. Ed Sheeran opens up on writing for Hilary. Read More »

In the wee hours of the morning, Hilary Duff was introduced at Chelsea nightclub Marquee in New York by Perez Hilton and flanked by colorful drag queens as she officially premiered new single “Chasing The Sun.” Well, actually, it was a remix of the song — apparently The Gays can’t handle all that guitar and Colbie Caillat song structuring?

At any rate, if you’re not up to speed, “Chasing The Sun,” which is being released next week, is the lead single off Duff’s upcoming fifth album (her first in seven years). Needless to say, it’s been A Moment since the release of her last LP, the benchmark-setting Dignity, and Hilary’s return to pop has become somewhat of A Thing.

Head below to watch Hilary twirl with a gaggle of queens, drag and otherwise. More »
