:: Who wouldn’t want to look like Lorde? The 17-year-old has inked a deal with MAC Cosmetics and will be releasing her own make-up line soon. I’m guessing it will include lots of black lipstick. [Billboard]
:: Speaking of fashion plates, Britney Spears debuted a Texan-themed cowgirl look while shopping in Malibu, California over the weekend. She teamed the outfit with ugg boots and a cup of iced coffee. [Just Jared]

Any doubt that Justin Bieber had reunited with former flame Selena Gomez has been erased once and for all by a pair of eye-popping Instagram videos. After dedicating “As Long As You Love Me” to the Stars Dance diva at a surprise SXSW performance earlier today (March 10), the Canadian superstar took his girlfriend to dance rehearsal and things got really heated.
These videos are as close to a remake of Dirty Dancing as we’re likely to get. There’s a good girl (Sel), a bad boy (JB) and lots of extremely sexy choreography — including the trademark lift. They really should cover “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” and release the full rehearsal video because this is the most enjoyable content Justin has delivered in years. Tove Lo is making all the right people take notice. The Swedish singer, who started her career writing hits for Icona Pop and Girls Aloud, first made waves in 2013 with cult pop hits “Habits” and “Out Of Mind” before releasing excellent debut EP Truth Serum earlier this month. (“Not On Drugs” is my fave).
Ellie Goulding is clearly also a fan because she posted “Stay High (feat. Hippie Sabotage) [Habits Remix]” on her Instagram and the song suddenly exploded. It broke into the top 100 overnight — an incredible feat for a gloomy, alt-EDM remix that has been floating around online for the last six months. While Beyonce‘s “Drunk In Love” has been unavoidable on urban and pop radio, the double entendre-heavy disco anthem “Blow” has been burning up dance floors. Today (March 10) Billboard revealed that the Pharrell/Timbaland-produced toe-tapper has roller-skated all the way to the top of the Dance Club Songs chart.
That’s fairly impressive for a song without a big-name remix package but there’s more. “Blow” becomes Bey’s 19th number one on the chart, making her the equal third (she is tied with Janet Jackson) most successful dance artist in history. Only Madonna and Rihanna have racked up more visits to the summit. She the all-time list after the jump. More »
M.I.A. has put her own unique spin on Beyonce‘s “***Flawless”, rendering the female empowerment anthem almost unrecognizable in a snippet she just (March 10) posted on Instagram. “Finished flawless what do I do with it Beyonce,” tweeted the Matangi diva before switching social media apps to share a preview.
From her tweet, it’s hard to tell if M.I.A.’s “***Flawless” update is official or just for kicks like Busta Rhymes and Azealia Banks‘ “Partition” remix, which was later removed due to copyright infringement. The femcee is signed to Jay Z‘s Roc Nation, so she should get more love. And it sounds pretty good from the snippet. Hit-Boy‘s beats has been reworked and “Bad Girls” visionary goes hard in her rap. Shakira‘s self-titled tenth album is only a matter of weeks away, which means it’s time to ramp up the promo and release the video for experimental second single “Empire”. The acoustic rock ballad triggered a mixed reaction from fans and critics (I love it) but the Colombian is sticking to her guns and moving forward with the track.
Part of her plan to win the public over is a glamorous video, which finds the gorgeous 36-year-old wearing a white wedding dress. Shakira shared a couple of pics from the set (after the jump) and it looks like she’s going for a more subtle approach this time after cavorting with Rihanna in her eye-popping “Can’t Remember To Forget You” video.
