I thought that said "Ben Gibbard" and I was flummoxed there for a moment.

I was amazed at how with every category, I would think to myself "oh my God, how could ___ be on this list... they are the LEAST deserving of this title."... and then that person would be announced the winner.

Who honestly believes that Nickleback produced the best rock record all year? Surely nobody with any reference to the history of music.

I couldn't pay attention to anything other than the fact that Billy Gibbons bedazzled his guitar. I imagine him so clearly at the kitchen table with a glue gun, cursing, fumbling around with the rhinestones, gluing his fingers to his beard...
