Iggy Azalea and Demi Lovato provided the entertainment for the first ever Vevo CERTIFIED SuperFanFest in Santa Monica, California last night (October 8). In addition to performing all their big hits to an arena full of fans, the chart-conquering superstars were also honored with awards for dropping videos that have racked up 100,000,000+ views.
The Australian rapper achieved the rare feat with Charli XCX-assisted smash “Fancy”, while the Disney diva did the same with 2013 top 10 hit “Heart Attack”. Given the view count on “Black Widow” and “Neon Lights”, it’s only a matter of time before they do it again. Peruse pics from the evening up top. Pay particular attention to Iggy’s killer outfits and Demi’s sick fade! More »
You haven’t lived until you’ve seen Demi Lovato‘s Cher impression. Ok, that’s hyperbole but it’s really, really funny and will most likely brighten your day. The “Really Don’t Care” hitmaker sat down with tour-mate Christina Perri for an Instagram Q&A yesterday (October 1) and someone had the genius idea of asking her to impersonate the pop legend.
Demi didn’t skip a beat and immediately started singing the enduring diva’s 1998 chart-topper “Believe”. The result is comedy gold as the 22-year-old gets Cher’s deep voice just right and even throws in some familiar hand gestures. Almost as funny is the look of amusement/mortification on Christina’s face. Watch the magic moment after the jump. More »
Start shaking and crying Camp Rock enthusiasts, because this is real and happening: Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas reunited on stage last night!
Six whole years after the duo first co-starred together on their smash Disney Channel original movie, the superstars came together once again to perform their Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, “This Is Me,” during Demi’s World Tour stop in Los Angeles last night.
After Demi launched into the tune, Joe Jonas casually wandered out (to the frenzied shrieks of the Lovatics in the audience!) to support his longtime friend with a vocal assist, as the two happily smiled at each other and belted out the tune. “Thanks @joejonas for the awesome surprise!! #staplescenter #4yrssincewesangtogether #demiworldtour” Demi later tweeted along with a photo of the two of them on stage that night. Bea Miller is joining Demi Lovato‘s world tour for five North American dates in October. And the budding diva, who first came to fame on X Factor before being signed to Hollywood Records, couldn’t be more excited about her new gig. “I just never thought that I’d be touring with someone who I look up to so much as an artist,” she says. Aww.
The gravelly-voiced 15-year-old released her debut EP Young Blood earlier this year and generated serious buzz with the teen angst-packed title track. Before touring with her idol, Bea will join Bleachers and Pitbull at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom for the annual T.J. Martell Foundation Family Day on September 28. The event raises money for cancer and AIDS research. Find the newcomer’s tour dates after the jump. More »
is a very busy girl. In between tour rehearsals and recording not one but two songs
with Nick Jonas
, she somehow found the time to pose for Fault
magazine. The 22-year-old covers the latest issue and explores a bold new style. She rocks heavy eye make-up for the shoot and tries out a wild new hairstyle. Yep, the “Really Don’t Care”
diva got bangs.
The last remaining Disney pop queen (Selena Gomez is moving on) looks extremely stylish in the black-and-white photos. It’s not easy to wear an outfit with a collar that high but she pulls it off. Demi will spend the rest of the year completing her world tour as well as headlining VEVO’s certified concert along with Iggy Azalea. Check out the singer’s bangs after the jump. More »
Media coach Janessa Slater (played by Saturday Night Live
‘s Vanessa Bayer
) returns to terrorize another pop diva in the latest installment of Sound Advice
. After pushing Sara Bareilles to the brink
, the queen of YouTube takes a slightly softer approach with Demi Lovato
. Sure, she mistakes her for Carmen Sandiego
but that’s cute in comparison to the jibes directed at former guests.
The interview begins with a brief chat about Demi’s new single “Really Don’t Care” (her face is priceless) before switching to hard-hitting questions about the Disney diva’s world tour. Like why she isn’t performing in war zones. From there things get super awkward as Janessa unravels and her guest thinks up an innovative excuse for leaving early. Watch the mayhem up top. More »
We all know pop fans go hard
— and that’s why two of pop’s hottest superstars, Iggy Azalea
and Demi Lovato
, have been selected to co-headline VEVO’s first ever Vevo CERTIFIED SuperFanFest concert at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on October 8.
The celebratory event, which will be made available to view October 16 at 4 PM EST on VEVO, is part of the music video’s CERTIFIED award program, an achievement for those videos that exceed 100 million views. And now, those artists want to thank you for getting them to the top.
As for what to expect? “Exclusive original programming including award presentations, artist commentary and fan tributes” — and plenty of fan interaction, of course. In fact, some attendees will even be selected to present awards on stage, as well as taking over the VEVO Instagram account. Who run the world? Fans.

Move over, Proactiv: Dr. Demi Lovato
is coming for the crown in the skincare world.
Her newly announced line, called Devonne By Demi,, and was developed out of Demi’s own passion for skincare. “Ever since I was a young girl, I have always been about skincare for some reason.
